Growing up in Northern California, I began learning to play golf at the age of 12 and have been playing and training full time in pursuit of a career in the sport that I love ever since. After playing 4 years of high school golf, I accepted a full golf scholarship to Holy Names College in Oakland, CA, to help start and build their golf program. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Communications in 2001 I relocated to San Diego and turned pro to pursue my passion for competing and working in the golf business.
The key to a great golf swing begins with a solid foundation. Grip, stance, posture, set-up and alignment are the basic fundamentals necessary to take your game to the next level. A student needs to understand the cause and effect of what is happening in their swing to be able to correct it, advance and to take what they have learned to the course.
