Teaching Philosophy

My job is to help you improve your game and to set up a program to achieve your goals; no matter what they may be or your current level of skill. I set up an individual custom program for each of my students designed to maximize their learning and potential on the course.

I work with all different types of players from beginners to advanced, young to old, male and female.

My knowledge of the golf swing comes from over 20 years of competitive play complemented with 10 years of working with students at all levels.

As the director of the Jr. Golf program here at the Del Mar Golf Center, I enjoy working with young players, teaching them the fundamentals of the game that will give them a solid foundation for a life long sport.

Biography

Growing up in Northern California, I began learning to play golf at the age of 12 and have been playing and training full time in pursuit of a career in the sport that I love ever since. After playing 4 years of high school golf, I accepted a full golf scholarship to Holy Names College in Oakland, CA, to help start and build their golf program. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Communications in 2001 I relocated to San Diego and turned pro to pursue my passion for competing and working in the golf business.
