Teaching Philosophy

I believe that golf lessons must be individually tailored to each student. It is very important to have a good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the golf swing. I make sure you understand the proper grip, stance, posture, alignment and ball position. I also emphasize the importance of the short game. As we get started with the lessons, we will develop and focus on your short and long term goals. I have been teaching golf to men, women, boys and girls of all ages and abilities for more than 39 years. I hope to see you soon. Let’s get started!  

Biography

I was introduced to the game of golf at age 8 by my father. I started taking golf lessons at age 9 and continued taking lessons for the next 30 years. As a San Diego native, I entered the golf business over 45 years ago. I have held many different positions in the business but teaching has always been my passion.
