Teaching Philosophy

Each student is an individual, with a different body type and a different level of flexibility.  They have different goals and different learning styles.  This is what makes teaching so exciting.
Being able to help someone improve their game is very rewarding to me.  I want to get the best out of my student without changing what they can do naturally.  I will take what they have and improve on it.  A key component to my philosophy is video swing analysis.  It helps the student see instantly what you are trying to tell them.  Also, I have a strong passion for equipment and club fitting.  I really love when I can introduce my student to the correct lie for their irons, or fit them with an appropriate driver shaft.  This enables them to play more, enjoy the game more and come back and share their successes with their PGA Professional.

Biography

Christopher was born and raised on the beautiful east end of Long Island.  He was introduced to the game by his uncle at the age of 11.  Christopher had the privilege of being a professional at the amazing Aviara Golf Club for 8 years.  Prior to joining the team at the Del Mar Golf Center he spent 2 years as the manager of the Del Mar Golf Mart.  Christopher proudly became a PGA Member in August of 2009.  When he's not at the Range making golf a better game you might hear him singing or spending time with his wife and two incredible children.
