Teaching Philosophy

Matt uses digital video analysis to help his students achieve success. He is an enthusiastic instructor passionate about teaching and enhancing the game of his students. Matt works with golfers of all abilities, from beginning to advanced. He loves difficult challenges and always enjoys seeing his students achieve positive results. Matt has a great knowledge of the golf swing and believes understanding the golf swing is half the battle and learning to move properly is the other half. He stays current by attending yearly PGA teaching and coaching summits as well as various teaching seminars.

Biography

Matt Terzo has over 12 years of experience as a PGA teaching professional. He started playing golf at age 7 in Connecticut with his father and grandparents. As a young golfer he quickly learned to shoot in the 70’s but was driven to play other sports throughout high school and college. After graduating college in Massachusetts with a B.S. in Business Administration he moved to San Diego in 1992 to pursue golf professionally. Spending three years on and off various mini-tours he took a job at Stardust Country Club in San Diego where he learned how rewarding teaching golf could be.
